We’re starting with a focused launch to learn and design the next set of features. You can use muting to stop seeing the content a community shares, but if the community you’re muting has also broken Reddit’s rules against harassment, threatening violence, hate, or anything else in our Content Policy, we also ask that you report the rule-breaking content. Additionally, if you change your notification preferences for a muted community, by opting into notifications, you will be removing it from your muted community list and will see the community in your recommendations and feeds again. If you don’t want to entirely mute a community, you can still modify or turn off notifications from particular communities in your Notification Settings.
